So the week of Samhain it started. I began shorting out electrical devices like crazy. This happens occasional but never to this extent.

I first drained my car remote start battery again for the third time. I thought thday would be the end. Oooooohhhh no next was my phone. They had to totally reset the darn thing. I am wondering what people are doing to observe or celebrate Samhain? Do you do this on the traditional day for Halloween, Oct. 31st, or do you have a different day for your activities?

Me, on the traditional secular Halloween, I will be at home handing out candy to all the little kids who come by trick or treating. I will dress for the occasion and hopefully scare them a little but not too much, hahahahahaha. I will actually observe Samhain a few days later which I feel fits…

I have been doing some thinking and meditation about the meaning and significance of the approaching Pagan holiday Samhain. Samhain is commonly known as Halloween in mainstream society. Always wanted my Wiccan name to be able to come to me very naturally on its own no prompting.
I am a numbers freek, so they absolutely had to match my full birth name number sequence completely.
It finally happened,I feel sooooooo complete.
Jemma means Jewel or Gem in Italian
Nova means New. This is very appropriate since I am of Italian decent and an avid collector of crystals.
Now I am planning my dedication service, asap so excited. :)
